Be Active Live Better CLASSES

 

Be Active Live Better offers classes for all ages, fitness levels, and stages of life. Whether you are up for a challenge, started a new chapter in your life, or conscious about aging bones, you can find a class that suits your needs.

BOOTCAMP

Bootcamp is a unique class that will challenge you every week and push your limits of comfort. All classes use different exercises and a variety of equipment that will encourage you to try your best at every class! All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Tie your laces, grab some water and come on out!

RUN GROUP

This program is designed to introduce you to running and learn proper technique while getting active and having fun! Each run will take place at rotating locations and end with core strength exercises and stretching. If you are apprehensive about running or need some encouragement and motivation, this program is for you! Total kilometers covered during the 6 week program is 5 to 8km.

BABY & ME
BABY & ME YOGA

Baby & Me and Baby & Me Yoga focuses on exercises that are designed to help you improve your endurance and strength while restoring your body back to your pre-pregnancy state. Most exercises involve your baby and it is a great chance to meet others while having fun too! This program encourages active participation between parent and child and promotes a healthy lifestyle. (6 weeks-18 months)

ACTIVE STROLLER

Active stroller is a fitness class that uses the stroller for assisted exercises while walking/running in the beautiful outdoors. This class program encourages active participation between parent and child and promotes a healthy lifestyle. Each class will end with parent/guardian and child stretching together while getting a core workout! 

ESSENTRICS

Essentrics is a dynamic workout based on the theories of Miranda Esmonde-White that simultaneously lengthens and strengthens every muscle in the body, resulting in greater joint mobility and lean, long muscles.

You will get a full-body technique that works through the muscle chains, liberating and empowering the muscles, relieving them from tension in the process.

Essentrics is a completely original workout that draws on the flowing movements of tai chi which create health and balance, the strengthening theories behind ballet which create long, lean, flexible muscles and the healing principles of physiotherapy which create a pain free body.

HATHA YOGA

Come and escape the hustle and bustle of your day with a class that will center you and challenge you both physically and mentally. This class can be gentle enough for beginners or challenged for fitness enthusiasts. Class will finish with meditation and relaxtion.

 

ACTIVE KIDS

Active Kids is aunique program that focuses on the development of children ages 3-6. Children will be taught balance, coordination, and free body movements that will both stimulate their minds and strengthen their growing muscles. This program gives children an opportunity to play, have fun, and work within a team enviornment. Not only will your child learn new skills, they will be physically active and learn about how the body moves...

 

 

 

 

 

 

ACTIVE CYCLE
 

This is a new class to the schedule and will test both your cardio and strength endurance! Active Cycle gives you the opportunity to ride indoors while being challenged to your potential. Each class will offer different challenges and test your ability to ride through the burn while having a lot of fun!!!

 

 

 

 

ZUMBA

Zumba is a latin inspired dance class that makes exercising fun! You will learn basic moves, new dances, and have fun doing it. Each week we will build on our music repetoire and increase our aerobic stamina.

STEP

Do you love to step? Do you like the intenisty of an athletic conditioning class? This class fuses step and athletic conditioning to offer an intense, yet fun class full of powerful and fun step moves. If you want a challenge and have a love for the step-this class is for you. You will be sweating within minutes and be sore for days!
